Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Alertify.AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alertify.AI ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.

Alertify.AI is an Android application that uses artificial intelligence to help detect potential scams in SMS messages, clipboard content, phone calls, on-screen text, and documents. The App includes five protection modules:

• SMS Shield — analyzes incoming text messages for scam patterns
• Clipboard Monitor — scans copied text for phishing links and social engineering attempts
• Accessibility Monitor — detects scam content visible on your screen across all apps
• Call Screening — identifies potentially fraudulent incoming phone numbers
• Document Scanner — analyzes photos of physical documents for fraud indicators

The App is provided as a protective tool only. It does not guarantee detection of all scams or fraudulent activity.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Alertify.AI. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Use of the App for any commercial purpose requires prior written consent from Alertify.AI.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the App
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App or any rights to it
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

You agree to use Alertify.AI only for its intended purpose of personal scam detection. You must not use the App to:

• Monitor, intercept, or surveil other people's communications without their consent
• Harass, stalk, or harm any individual
• Attempt to overwhelm or disrupt our servers or backend infrastructure
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates any third-party rights

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will detect all scams or fraudulent communications
• The App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of false positives
• Any particular threat will be detected or correctly classified
• The App will be available at all times or on all devices

AI-powered scam detection is a probabilistic tool. No detection system is perfect, and you should always use your own judgment when evaluating suspicious content.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALERTIFY.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM SCAMS NOT DETECTED BY THE APP.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 USD if you used the free version).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Your use of Alertify.AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

In summary: we do not sell your data, we do not store analyzed message content on our servers, and all personal data handling is described in full in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will provide notice through the App or via email if you have provided one.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination include but are not limited to violation of these Terms or abuse of the service.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

Sections 06 (Disclaimer), 07 (Limitation of Liability), and 11 (Governing Law) survive termination of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.

You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration regarding any dispute with Alertify.AI.
